PUMA RIDER CREAM COLLECTION FEATURE
PUMA’s legendary running shoe from the ‘80s makes its return.
The iconic retro style gets updated to launch the Future Rider
OG and Style Rider OG as the next generation of sport style.
In this feature we highlight the PUMA Rider Cream Collection with pieces
from Junya Watanabe MAN's Autumn / Winter 2019 collection.
The PUMA Rider Cream Collection will be available Saturday, October 26th
in-store and online (9AM PST).
The Style Rider OG showcases new materials with bearthable mesh
uppers with suede overlays, a bold midsole, new shock-absorbing
RIDERFOAM midsole with a subtle corrugated
outsole for a reduced look.
The return of PUMA’s Fast Rider OG celebrates Germany’s first “jogging”
shoe. In the ‘80s, more and more people picked up running to become
fit as well as for leisure. To cater to the needs of those individuals who
ran on the rigid asphalt, PUMA developed “Federbein Technology”
which imitated automotive suspension for optimized shock
absorption and comfort.
Inspired by the original, the “retrospective” Fast Rider OG returns with
vibrant, ‘80s reminiscent colors and comes equipped with PUMA’s
proprietary “Federbein” outsole with a RIDERFOAM
midsole for high rebound.
The Future Rider OG comes in the 80s contemporary yellow/blue colorway,
with nylon and suede uppers. Inspired by the original, the Future Rider OG
features a subtle corrugated outsole and TUPU heel stabilizer
for more steadiness.
